PDF (portable document format) is a secure and pefect file format that can be saved from almost any application. PDF files can have all the information required in it when going for full color printing. A major advantage the pdf has over other file formats, is that it is platform independant, be it a Mac, PC or Unix based machine.
.EPS
EPS (encapsulated postscipt) is a format that can retain postscript information as well as bitmap, it can retain things like a 5th colour, clipping paths, embedded fonts etc. EPS’s can give better compression because the more of the file you can keep as vectors (outlines) the more compression you can get.
TIFF
Tiff files are pure bitmap files and only retain pixel information but are usually very reliable.
Source Files
Source files include the original files with images, fonts and complete file information in a text file. Source files are helpful if you want to change graphics and text in your end.
Whether it is for full color offset printing or digital printing, our ready-to-print files are hassle-free. For our US/European customers, the print-ready artwork files are uploaded to a server using FTP and downloaded at the printer’s end (source/EPS files, fonts and images with job info) and handed over for printing.
